Doug and John,

Back in the early seventy's when my long range navigation equipment consisted of a single ADF, I delivered Cessna's from the factory in Wichita to the distributor in Nairobi. For about three years, I stopped in Malta almost every month. What an interesting place. I look forward to your report. You don't have to worry about the food or water there, but be careful of that Casino!!

Glad to hear you're considering Azores to Bermuda. It's a flight I always wanted to make, but didn't feel confident enough in those Cessna radios to attempt it. (I once flew from Luxor to Nairobi with only a single com radio remaining) I almost suggested Azores/Bermuda when I mentioned Azores/Boston, but it's a little farther and doesn't save any time, so I decided not to tempt you. I think everyone checking your web site would enjoying seeing a picture of you guys in Bermuda shorts and knee high socks.

Iım in the Bay Area, on vacation, with my family until the first of September. Iıd like for them to meet you if you get back before then. Also, let me know if you need any help with the de-tanking. Weıre moving around, so just contact me at eddiebob@aol.com.

Tailwinds and Aloha, Ed
